I have peformed a repair install of windows I have reset gaming services and the app downloader from settingsĨ. One is running and the other gives error code 31 when trying to start itĥ. Went into services and ensured all xbox services are running Uninstalled Xbox app and tried to download from microsoft storeĤ. Reparied and reset both apps from apps settingsģ. Uninstalled and reinstalled both storesĢ. I am able to download other games (Sea of Theives, Moonlighter) with no issue, but others (such as no mans sky) either do nothing (when trying in microsoftĪpp) or Error code 0x00000001 (Xbox store).ġ. I am trying to download No Man's Sky onto my computer via both the microsoft and xbox gaming app. Those changes helped to improve my download from a slow 100-500 kb/s to 450 - 600 Mbit/s.
Actually it's a simple edit of a Config file to give the slow Epic Game Launcher different Timeout and retry Settings.
Sergiy Galyonkin, Epic’s head of product development, says the problem is due to a bug in the launcher. But I rememebered that there was a fix in the past for the Epic Game Launcher having slow download speed that actually worked.
